Post a product status

Show a product to people nearby for 6 hours, like a WhatsApp status. They see it under Product updates in the Marketplace.

Steps

1. Shop owners: open Virtual shop, go to the Products tab and tap the status button next to a listed product.
2. Personal sellers: open My pages and tap Post as status on an item that is for sale.
3. Add a short caption if you like, for example Fresh stock today.
4. Shops can also set a today-only price. It must be lower than the shop price.
5. Tap Post status. People near you see it under Product updates at the top of the Marketplace.
6. Check My statuses for the time left and how many people viewed it. Tap End now to take it down early.

Tips

• Every status disappears 6 hours after you post it.
• You can have up to 10 statuses up at once.
• Customers pay the today-only price at checkout while the status is up. After it ends, they pay the normal shop price.
• Only people near your shop or item see your statuses: within their distance, or in the same county and town.
• On a team, staff need permission to manage products to post statuses.
