Import M-Pesa and bank messages

Rekodi reads your SMS on the phone and lists the money messages. Nothing is saved until you approve.

Steps

1. On your Android phone, tap More, then SMS inbox.
2. Tap Grant SMS access the first time. Messages are read on the phone only.
3. Tap Pick dates and choose Since last import, Last 7 days or This month.
4. Tap SELECT ALL NEW, or tap the messages you want.
5. Tap Review & approve.
6. Check the totals and wallet balances, then tap Approve & sync.

Tips

• SMS reading works on Android only. On other phones and on the web, paste a message instead.
• Turn on HIDE IMPORTED to see only messages that are not in your books yet.
